Ricardo Barrera was a presenter at the Juvenile Justice Association of Texas Fall Conference yesterday. The JJAT Fall Conference is hosted by the Cameron County Juvenile Justice Department and this year is held on October 22 and 23. This year’s theme is Bridging the Gap to Juvenile Services.
Ricardo gave a training session on unaccompanied and undocumented minors and legal consequences and recidivism rates among children put through the mental health system and the pitfalls involved.
He received a letter of thanks from the conference.
