Ricardo Alonzo Barrera has been practicing law since 2010. During his career, Mr. Barrera has won numerous awards, including Graduate of the Law Decade from The Texas Tech University School of Law, where he earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence. Mr. Barrera has worked in multiple areas of complex civil litigation including family law, personal injury, healthcare, and probate. Mr. Barrera has been a legal correspondent for two major local news networks and has provided education seminars to his local colleagues. Mr. Barrera graduated from Harvard with distinction and honors.
Sara Stapleton Barrera is a graduate of the prestigious Trial Lawyers College and has apprenticed under one of the most formidable trial attorneys in Texas for over 10 years. During that time, she has successfully obtained favorable outcomes in multiple trials. Ms. Barrera was recognized with the Brenda Tso Rising Young Lawyer Recipient and is the former President of the Cameron County Bar Association. Ms. Barrera also served on the Texas State Bar Disciplinary Committee for her region. Ms. Barrera has practiced in Constitutional Law, Criminal Defense, and Complex Civil Litigation and Wrongful Death.
